I love seeing people draw all twelve of the trolls, I really like how you drew Eridan and Aradia here, but all these ridiculious, Tim Burton-y swirls on their hair are really offputting. Especially with Tavros, because having one of those in a mohawk is the goofiest looking thing ever and makes no sense. Also, Tav's mohawk is pointed to the back, not poured towards his face like some screemo kid. Speaking of the hair, what is going on with Kanaya? She looks like Ludwig von Koopa from Mario. I could expect a bunch of mangled fluff from Karkat and Gamzee, but Kanaya is the beauty queen of them all, she's not very fashionable with a bed head. Terezi's tounge looks kinda weird, but I don't know if you did that to make her look more alien, so that's just a minor thing. That's all I gotta say about this.
Wow pretty strict criticism. (no offense or anything, you actually gave out a pretty professional critique) But everyone draws the homestuck characters differently. I do kind of agree the ahogies (swirly thingies) are strong with this piece, but i noticed she draws all of her artwork with it, so she must have it as a drawing trait. Also there is a lot of people who draw Tavros' hair going forward. I'm not gonna lie but I used to draw Tavros' hair like that too, but I studied his hair more and I started to draw his hair a little spikier and going backwards. I also think Kanaya's hair is a little off, but hey, everyone draws differently and has different perspectives, and I like her perspective. Kanaya with fluffy hair still works, but not for everyone and thats fine. Other than that, I don't mean to be an asshole or anything, just saying that hey, everyones's styles and headcanons of the characters is different. So you can mention how her headcanons are different, but I don't really see why you would need to critisize a person's head canon or style of perspective. But I do appreciate that you didnt completely BOMB her artwork with negativity and did state what you like about the piece. So no offense I'm just saying something.
